Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £100 – £120 per day

About the role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting. You will assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons, provide tailored support to individual students, and contribute to the overall development and well-being of pupils.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare is highly beneficial (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Supervise students during lessons, break times, and outings.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.

• Help to assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
