Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are currently seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a Primary school in Beaconsfield.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of students at various levels of ability.
Lead small group interventions and provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or other additional learning needs.
Provide support in classroom management, behaviour management, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
Utilise relevant technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.Requirements:

Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS), or equivalent.
Have experience working as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar role in a primary or secondary school setting.
Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Have a good understanding of the national curriculum and strategies for supporting students with SEN.
Be proficient in using ICT tools and software relevant to the role.
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic educational environment.What we offer:
