Requirements:

Must hold relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification: To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification.

Proven experience as an Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), supporting teaching and learning in primary or secondary schools: We're looking for candidates with a proven track record of supporting teaching and learning in primary or secondary schools.

Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities: As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you'll play a crucial role in supporting students of all abilities. We're looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference and can inspire and engage students to reach their full potential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Effective communication is key to success in this role. We're looking for candidates who can communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents alike.

Flexible and adaptable approach to work: Teaching can be unpredictable, and no two days are the same. We're looking for candidates who are flexible and adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons: Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.

Support individual and small group learning: Provide targeted support to students who require additional assistance, both in and out of the classroom, to help them achieve their learning goals.

Manage classroom behavior: Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing classroom behavior and implementing appropriate strategies to support students' social and emotional development.

Assess and monitor student progress: Assist teachers in assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers to support continuous improvement.

Contribute to the wider school community: Participate in school events and activities, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with parents and carers to foster strong partnerships and promote student success.
