Provide tailored support for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Assist in implementing individual support plans and strategies to help pupils achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.
Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SEND team, and pastoral staff to ensure consistent provision.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and the SENCO.
Promote an inclusive, nurturing, and safe learning environment for all pupils.

We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

HLTA status or equivalent experience supporting teaching and learning.
Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly those with SEMH needs.
Confidence in delivering effective interventions to individuals and small groups.
Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
A calm, flexible, and proactive approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting pupils to achieve their potential.
A welcoming, inclusive, and supportive school community.
The opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of pupils with additional needs.
A collaborative and experienced SEND team.
Access to high-quality professional development.
A rewarding role within a school committed to ensuring every child succeeds.
