Salary: £95 - £115 per day
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a strong background supporting pupils with complex SEND needs?
Do you have experience supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties?
Are you looking for flexible day-to-day work with the opportunity to secure a longer-term position?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND setting in Wolverhampton supporting pupils with PMLD and SLD. The setting provides a supportive and structured environment where pupils receive personalised support to help them develop their communication, independence and engagement with learning.
The setting is looking to appoint Higher Level Teaching Assistants for day-to-day opportunities, with long-term positions also available. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support pupils with PMLD and SLD, work alongside teaching staff and adapt their approach to meet individual learning and developmental needs.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:
HLTA qualification or relevant experience working at HLTA level
Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and/or SLD
Experience working within a SEND or specialist setting
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence supporting pupils with complex learning needs
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
