Higher Level Teaching Assistant | EYFS-Year 6 | Monday-Friday | Long-Term Opportunity
Reeson Education is working with a primary school seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HLTA who is comfortable working across the full primary age range, from EYFS through to Year 6. The school is looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills, a confident classroom presence and the ability to step into different year groups and make an immediate impact.
The Role - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:
Provide classroom cover and deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to Year 6.
Support teaching and learning across different year groups as required.
Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and pupil needs.
Maintain a positive, structured and engaging learning environment.
Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support pupil progress.
Provide additional support to pupils who may require further guidance.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for an Higher Level Teaching Assistant who:
Has previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
Is confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom independently.
Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills.
Can adapt to working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Is proactive, resilient and able to use their initiative.
Can hit the ground running and quickly establish themselves within the school.
Holds HLTA status or has equivalent relevant experience.
