The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Lead targeted interventions to accelerate student progress
Support teaching and learning across a range of year groups and subjects
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational provision
Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
