Senior Teaching Assistant / HLTA - Primary School**
Full-Time | Long-Term Role | Aspire People

Aspire People are currently working with primary schools looking to appoint experienced **HLTAs** who can provide high-quality classroom support while confidently stepping into teaching responsibilities when required.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting across multiple year groups and will be comfortable delivering lessons, managing classrooms, and supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role within a school's wider support structure.

**Responsibilities:**
* Providing classroom cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
* Delivering pre-planned lessons during teacher absence or release time
* Supporting teachers with planning and resource preparation
* Leading intervention groups to support pupil attainment
* Working with SEND pupils and adapting support strategies where required
* Supporting behaviour management and positive learning environments
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

**Requirements:**
* HLTA qualification, Level 4 qualification, or significant equivalent experience
* Recent experience working within a UK primary school
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
* Confident managing whole-class learning independently
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
