GSL Education are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join us ready for the September 2024 term. Whether you're a fresh graduate looking to kickstart your teaching journey or an experienced teaching assistant seeking a new challenge, we have opportunities for you to excel and grow. We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for an outstanding school based in Wythenshawe. This excellent role will include covering classes, working with small groups of pupils, and carrying out one-to-one work where needed. You will be required to provide support for students. This can be day-to-day work or Long-term depending on what you're looking for and the school's needs. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced educators and gain valuable classroom experience.

The school has great facilities & close to public transport, the school’s focus is to give a nurturing approach to learning whilst making learning fun. This friendly school currently has an Ofsted report rated ‘Good’. The role is due to start September 2024 for the right individual.

The Role:

Location: Wythenshawe
Salary: £20000- £24000 per annum
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full Time

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Previous experience in a similar role

Have the right to work in the UK
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
