Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming Primary School in the Dukinfield area of Tameside.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident HLTA to play a key role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will work across the primary age range, supporting pupils' learning, delivering interventions, and providing classroom cover when required.

The Role:

Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Leading small group interventions to raise attainment
Providing targeted support to individual pupils where required
Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure pupils make excellent progress
Contributing to the positive ethos and wider life of the schoolThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience working within a Primary School setting
Confidence in leading whole-class learning sessions
Strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learningThe school is looking for a committed professional who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff while maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.
