Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Learning: Assist in the planning, delivery, and assessment of engaging and effective lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
Intervention: Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupils' learning and development.
Classroom Management: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Resource Preparation: Prepare and maintain classroom resources and materials to support teaching and learning.
Assessment: Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to assessment and reporting.
Pastoral Care: Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting positive behavior and inclusion.
Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential.
Experience: Previous experience working as a TA or HLTA in a primary school setting.
Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge: Understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
