Teaching Personnel is currently seeking experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in a variety of primary, secondary, and specialist schools across Slough and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be confident leading whole-class sessions in the absence of a teacher, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities may include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Leading small group and intervention sessions
Supporting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN
Working collaboratively with teachers and school leaders
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
Creating a positive and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

Hold a HLTA qualification or have substantial classroom experience
Have experience supporting learning within UK schools
Are confident managing classroom behaviour independently
Can adapt quickly to different school settings
Have strong communication and organisational skills
Are passionate about helping pupils achieve their best

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
