HGV Class 2 Waste Drivers – Kidderminster
Location: Kidderminster
Contract: Temporary (Initial 3-Month Contract)
Hours: Full Time – 37 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Waste Drivers to join our client's Environmental Services team in Kidderminster on an initial 3-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking to join a dedicated team delivering essential waste collection services across the local area.
## Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) refuse collection vehicle.
Drive designated collection routes in accordance with schedules.
Work closely with the waste collection crew to complete daily rounds efficiently.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Ensure compliance with all road traffic legislation and health and safety procedures.
Deliver a professional and courteous service to residents and businesses.
## Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in all weather conditions.
Previous experience within waste or refuse collection is desirable but not essential
