Accelerate Personnel are currently recruiting experienced HGV2 Drivers on behalf of our long-established and highly reputable client.
With over 40 years of industry expertise, our client specialises in the delivery of window profiles to both trade and residential customers across the UK in a HGV2 vechile.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional HGV2 drivers who enjoy working on the road and delivering a high standard of customer service.
As a HGV2 driver, you will be responsible for completing both local and nationwide deliveries. The role involves early starts and offers flexibility in shift patterns. You will represent the client at delivery points, ensuring goods are transported safely and delivered efficiently while maintaining excellent customer relations.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a HGV2 vechile across local and national routes
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods in line with company procedures
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with road safety regulations
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
Driver Requirements
• Full UK Driving Licence with valid HGV2 entitlement
• Valid Driver CPC (with HGV2 entitlement) qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Strong work ethic with a flexible and reliable approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
