HGV Class 1 Multi-Drop Drivers Required
Earn £1,000+ Per Week | Ongoing Work | Fixed Shift Patterns
Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading distribution client based in Northampton. Whether you're an experienced driver or have recently passed your Class 1 test, we'd love to hear from you.
With immediate starts available, regular ongoing work and excellent rates of pay, this is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for stability and strong earning potential.
Location: Northampton
Shift Patterns: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
Start Times: Between 04:00 and 12:00
The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to stores
Typically completing 2-6 drops per shift
Delivering across London and surrounding areas
Using a pump truck to safely unload deliveries
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
Pay Rates
£18.52 per hour
£27.78 per hour overtime (paid after 8 hours worked)
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply
Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous but not essential
No more than 6 penalty points
No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements
