M4 Recruitment are working with a leading distributor in Swindon who have a vacnacy for an ongoing driver that will become permanent following a qualifying period.
Although driving will be the main responsibility, the drivers will be responsible to open the curtains and close them again once loaded.
Once settled, you will be trained how to use the crane system so you can load and unload the lorries safely.
There are times when our deliveries run past closing time of 4pm so some flexibility will be required. There are also days which may be a little quiet and the drivers may be asked to help in the warehouse with warehouse duties.
The succesful candiate must have at least 2 years driving experience and be able to reverse into tight spaces.
The usual shift plan is 0700 – 1600 Monday to Thursday, and 0700 – 1400 on Fridays.
This position is likely to start on 1st July 2024.
