Description:
Our client, based in Newport, is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team for permanent tramping work, with the an immediate start.
Drivers should be prepared for early starts and overnight stays as part of the tramping schedule.
New passes accepted.
Pay Rate:
* £17.00 per hour
* £25 Night out
Shift Times:
* 04:00am to 08:00am starts
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely load, secure, transport, and unload goods in line with company and legal standards.
* Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
* Perform daily vehicle checks and promptly report any faults or maintenance issues.
* Deliver excellent customer service during interactions with clients and delivery points.
* Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* A full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
* A valid CPC qualification card and digital tachograph card.
* A minimum of 6 months proven experience operating Class 1 vehicles.
* Flexibility and reliability, with a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
