We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of HGV Trailer Technician in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The successful individual will join a reputable team dedicated to maintaining and repairing heavy vehicle trailers to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced trailer or HGV mechanics seeking a secure, well-paid role with attractive benefits and regular working hours.

Employee recognition awards and vouchersDuties of the HGV Trailer Technician:
Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and PMI checks on HGV trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, including braking, suspension, and bodywork systems
Replace and adjust components as needed
Ensure all work complies with DVSA standards and guidelines
Accurately document maintenance and repair activities
Collaborate with the wider workshop team to maintain operational vehicle fleet efficiencyRequirements of the HGV Trailer Technician:
Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, Fitter, or similar heavy vehicle role
Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification or equivalent practical experience
IRTEC certification desirable, or willingness to achieve certification
Proactive approach with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
