Description:
Advance Staff is seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our team.
This role demands adherence to strict safety standards and a commitment to maintaining the high operational standards of our company.
Job Role:
* Hgv 2 Tipper working away
* Induction held in Stafford
* Location- Lancashire, Blackpool, Trafford
* Working away on a 12 on 2 off shift pattern
* Paid Accomodation provided
* Must have 6 months experience
* £16p/h weekdays
* £18.50 p/h weekends
* £27.50 per night out paid on top
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle to transport materials to designated sites.
• Ensure loads are safely and securely transported, adhering to legal load limits.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Safely operate tipping mechanisms to unload materials at delivery sites.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure and arrival, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all driving regulations, including tachograph and driver’s hours rules.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 driver, with specific experience operating tipper trucks preferred.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and legal load limits.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering heavy loads.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
