We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle dealership in Billingham for an experienced Night Shift HGV Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern workshop environment, working with one of the most recognised names in the commercial vehicle industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest standards while benefiting from a stable night shift pattern and competitive earnings.
???? Shift Pattern
* Week 1 & 2: Monday to Thursday
* Week 3 & 4: Tuesday to Friday
* Permanent night shift
???? The Role
As a Night Shift HGV Technician, you will:
* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
* Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance work.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
* Accurately complete workshop documentation and job records.
* Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.
???? Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to work independently during night shifts.
* Full UK driving licence.
