Our client, a well-established commercial vehicle specialist based in Hull, East Yorkshire, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent development opportunities, and a supportive working environment. We are inviting applications from HGV Technicians with varying levels of experience, including those with dealership backgrounds and commercial vehicle expertise.

Basic salary up to £40,973, with potential earnings up to £44,387 with overtime
Two-week rotating shift pattern: early and late shifts
Paid overtime for 1 in 2 Saturday mornings

Inspect and repair a variety of commercial vehicles to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation
Perform fault diagnosis using specialist, market-leading diagnostic equipment
Conduct general mechanical and electrical repairs
Support offsite work including breakdown attendances
Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring vehicles are kept on the roadRequirements of a HGV Technician:
Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
Proven experience as a HGV Technician
MOT licence (desirable)
Ability to work to a high standard with attention to detail
Strong team-working skills and a positive attitude
Awareness of Health and Safety regulations
Own set of tools
