Description:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join a reputable client within their busy Inverness dealership. This HGV Technician role offers a highly competitive salary package, excellent overtime opportunities, and career development prospects within a well-established commercial vehicle group.

Competitive starting salary of up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and shift pattern
Overtime opportunities, with some technicians earning £70,000 to £80,000 annually

Alternating shift patterns: Week 1 (8am–5pm), Week 2 (1pm–10pm), providing flexibilityDuties:
Performing major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles
Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Maintaining workshop hygiene and organisation, including managing oil spills and dust
Assisting diagnosis and planning repair procedures with team members
Recording detailed repair and maintenance histories
Completing warranty claims and relevant documentation accurately
Carrying out wheel alignments and tyre fitting as the HGV Technician
Ensuring timely completion of work within specified timeframes
Providing excellent customer service by preparing necessary documentation and reportsRequirements:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
At least 1–2 years of practical experience post-qualification preferred
A strong team player with high-quality workmanship
Motivated and able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
Ability to meet targets and follow health and safety procedures as the HGV Technician
