Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Technician to join a well-established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy.
Our client operates a busy fleet within a heavy industrial environment, offering a structured career pathway to become a DAF certified HGV Technician.
What's on offer?
Full-time permanent position
Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm - with an early Friday finish
£35,000 per annum + overtime available and paid up to double time

Driving HGV vehicles as required within the business operation
Carrying out basic vehicle checks including tyre pressure, oil levels and wiper condition
Supporting the maintenance team with general vehicle upkeep
Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety standardsTo be considered as an HGV Technician, you will need:
A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Some mechanical knowledge or semi-skilled technician experience
A willingness to develop and train towards full HGV technician certification
