HGV Technician

Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Truck Technician. Applicants must have previous HGV maintenance and diagnostic experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. An HGV Class 1 Licence is desirable.

Location: West Thurrock
Salary: Up to £27 per hour (£63,180 basic) + Overtime
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday | Rotating early/late shifts | Saturdays as required

HGV Technician Role
Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle defects
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently to required standards
Carry out inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety requirements
Maintain high standards of workmanship and Health & Safety
HGV Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Truck Technician
Strong HGV servicing, repair and diagnostic experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
HGV Class 1 Licence is desirable
Main dealership HGV experience is advantageous for the top rate
