Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic / Truck Mechanic looking for a role where no two days are quite the same?
This is an opportunity to join a specialist commercial vehicle engineering business working on a wide range of HGVs, trailers and specialist equipment, within a well-equipped workshop environment.

Saturday morning 08:00–12:00

The role of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
involve:
Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Working on braking systems, suspension, chassis and running gear
Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
Working on hydraulic systems, hoses, cylinders and valves
Carrying out MOT preparation and associated repairs
Working on trailers and specialist commercial vehicle equipment
Supporting general engineering, fabrication and repair work where required
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What we’re looking for from the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
Good knowledge of HGV systems and commercial vehicles
Experience with hydraulics and/or electrical systems would be highly advantageous
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification preferred
Able to diagnose faults and work independently
A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
