HGV Technician
Client overview:
A Large Goods Vehicle operator in a local Oxfordshire company is looking for a technician to join their team.
The company delivers primary and recycled aggregates to construction sites in and around the outskirts of Oxfordshire. A prestigious company that is well respected and invests in staff training and welfare. Our client is looking for either a qualified LGV Technician or a motor mechanic with 'hands-on' experience in a similar industry. Ful training and support will be provided to the right candidate to upskill to an LGV Technician.
Job Description:
A HGV Licence is preferable but not essential. Learn to find faults in vehicles, repair them, and carry out general maintenance checks. MOT preparation, maintain vehicles and ensure they are kept in good order. Carry out breakdown repairs and work as part of a team to ensure all work is completed in a timely and professional manner to keep vehicles on the road.
Your responsibilities as a Technician:
* Maintenance and regular inspections
* Carry our pre-MOT checks
* Flexibility to work in other areas of the business to support the whole team
* Workshop maintenance/Health & Safety checks
* Fault finding and vehicle repairs
* Flexible working to suit the need of the business
Shift Times:
Monday to Friday
07.00 to 17.00
Midweek overtime regularly available
Occasional Saturday morning working
Pay Rates:
14.89 per hour + Overtime and Bonus
