Our client is a well-established company and are specialists in commercial vehicle rental. The Business has 5 rental depots, with modern, fully equipped workshops in the North and South of England.
Due to expansion our client are looking to hire at their Leeds Depot.
The role of HGV Technician will involve being responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines, general repairs and maintenance of vehicles in a professional and safe manner.
The HGV Technician will be reporting to the Workshop Manager and will be able to investigate and diagnose faults, report findings and be able to carry out all repairs to the current manufacturer’s standards.
Essential Criteria
You must have Mechanical Qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or be time served preferably with an IRTEC accreditation
Strong Experience as a HGV Technician
The role offers a wide variety of work and so it would be advantageous for you to possess these skills:
Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics
Experience working on tippers, tipper grabs or beaver tails
Knowledge of latest diagnostic systems
Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV License (Car License Holders will also be considered)

We are looking for a team player to fill this role who will be flexible and able to work to set deadlines.
In addition the company offers a non-contractual profit share scheme that you would be enrolled into after initial qualifying period

Usual Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00
