Working Hours: Night shift 4 days on 4 days off

Salary: Up to £54,000 DOE

Chance to work with a reputable transport organisation and make a real impact.As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Working on a 4 on 4 off rota basis, including both day and night shifts, you will play a crucial role in keeping their vehicles in optimal condition.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Perform routine servicing tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire replacements.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults with precision and efficiency.
Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools effectively to identify and troubleshoot issues.
Complete all repair and maintenance tasks accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime for our fleet.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and hours worked, for accurate reporting and billing purposes.
Collaborate with other members of the workshop team to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environmentExperience essential for this role:

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, with a strong background in HGV maintenance and repair.
Ability to work on a 4 on 4 off rota basis, including both day and night shifts.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
