We are recruiting skilled HGV Technicians / HGV Mechanics to join a market-leading commercial vehicle specialist with opportunities across Bedford, Biggleswade, Daventry and Milton Keynes.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic -The Role
You will work as part of a professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a range of HGV units and trailers.
Your duties will include:

HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs
*
Diagnostics and mechanical fault finding
*
Defect repairs and preventative maintenance
*
MOT preparation
*
Inspections and general workshop repairs
*
Ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and road-ready
*
Completing workshop paperwork and records accurately
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic -About You
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic with:
*
Proven HGV / commercial vehicle experience
*
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3, IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent, or proven relevant experience
*
Ability to work accurately and under pressure
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
A proactive approach to solving technical problems
HGV Class 1 licence is advantageous but not essential.
Shift Patterns
4 on / 4 off: 18:00–06:00
Monday–Thursday: 06:00–18:00
Early: 06:00–15:30, Monday–Friday
Late: 08:30–18:00, Monday–Friday
