HGV Technician
Location: Halifax
Salary: £20.00 per hour + enhanced overtime paid at time and a half (£30.00/hr)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time, Permanent)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Rotation of early and late shifts)

Key Responsibilities of the PSV Technician / HGV Technician
Troubleshoot complex faults, carrying out vehicle repairs, major servicing, and parts replacement.
Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
Perform routine safety examinations using modern handheld data-capture devices.
Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns/recoveries and carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to verify defects.
What You’ll Need as PSV Technician / HGV Technician
Minimum NVQ / SVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle
Maintenance and Repair (Light vehicle qualified or ex-Forces engineering candidates looking to transition are also welcome).
A flexible approach to work with the ability to multi-skill across a modern fleet.
