Hours: Monday-Friday | Rotating 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
Saturday Overtime: 07:00-13:00 | £31.50 per hour

HGV Technician - Ely
Are you a qualified HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic looking for a permanent role with excellent overtime, training and career progression?
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established engineering team in Ely, working on a modern HGV fleet.
What's on Offer?
·Up to £21.00 per hour DOE
·Rotating Monday-Friday shifts: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
·Saturday overtime: 07:00-13:00 at time and a half - up to £31.50 per hour

The Role
·Service, maintain and repair HGVs
·Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
·Carry out safety inspections and MOT preparation
·Complete routine preventative maintenance
·Ensure repairs meet required safety and manufacturer standards
·Maintain accurate records and a clean, safe workshop
About You
·City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
·Previous HGV or heavy vehicle experience
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
·Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team
·Full UK Driving Licence
HGV Licence is desirable but not essential.
Training & Development
You'll have access to structured technical training, including Electrics Level 1 & 2, E-Mobility and Oscilloscope Diagnostics, with opportunities to progress through recognised technician accreditation levels.
