HGV TECHNICIAN
Location: Wellington
Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday-Friday, 11:00am-21:00pm
Lunch: 1-hour unpaid break

Salary: £50,000 + Overtime
We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Wellington. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a permanent position, a consistent Monday-to-Friday shift pattern and a strong benefits package.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
·Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults
·Carrying out general workshop repairs and maintenance
·Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
·Completing service and repair documentation accurately
·Keeping electronic and paper-based records up to date
·Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
·Following all relevant health and safety procedures
·Working efficiently to meet workshop requirements
What We're Looking For
·NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Motor Vehicle / Heavy Vehicle Repair
·Previous HGV or commercial vehicle maintenance experience
·MOT preparation experience
·Good knowledge of mechanical systems
·Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
