Are you an experienced HGV technician looking for a varied role, excellent earning potential and a four-day working week?
Our client is expanding their team and looking for a reliable, skilled technician to join their well-equipped Bedford workshop.
???? Based in Bedford
???? Tuesday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
???? up to £26 per hour
???? Excellent overtime
The role includes:
✅ HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs
✅ Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagnostics
✅ MOT preparation and preventative maintenance
✅ Customer site visits
✅ Occasional roadside call-outs
You’ll work on vehicles operated by local authorities, emergency services and commercial fleet customers, so no two days will be the same!
You’ll need previous HGV technician or mechanic experience, strong diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence. A Class 2 licence would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
Ongoing training will be offered as well as career progression, long-term job security and a supportive working environment.
