An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and professional workshop environment based in Heathrow.
This position offers industry-leading training, excellent earning potential, and genuine long-term career progression within a modern commercial vehicle operation.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - Rotating Shifts
·06:00 - 14:30
·14:30 - 23:00
Optional Saturday Overtime
·07:00 - 13:00
·Overtime paid at enhanced rates of up to £31.50 per hour
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest safety and performance standards.
Working within a well-equipped workshop, you'll use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer procedures to keep vehicles operating efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
·Perform routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs.
·Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
·Complete maintenance work in accordance with manufacturer standards.
·Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
·Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
·Support workshop productivity and vehicle uptime.
·Assist with fault diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting.
·Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Candidate Requirements
·NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
·Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
·Positive and proactive approach to work.
·Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
·Full UK Driving Licence.
·HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
