We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership based in Eardisley, Herefordshire. They are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their friendly workshop team. Competitive starting salary up to £19.23 per hour, rising to £24 per hour with full specialisation
Alternating early and late shifts: Week 1 (6:00am-2:00pm) and Week 2 (2:00pm-10:00pm), Monday to Friday

Perform all service, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and to manufacturer standards
Carry out comprehensive diagnosis and rectify malfunctions in HGVs
Support colleagues with technical issues and innovative solutions
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Document diagnosis, repairs, safety inspections, and service activities accurately
Contribute positively to workshop productivity and target achievementRequirements of the HGV Technician:
Ideally, hold an IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Individuals with extensive hands-on experience in HGV maintenance without formal qualifications will also be considered
Experience with Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) is advantageous
A motivated team player capable of producing high-quality work in a busy workshop
Good technical skills and diagnostic ability
