Premier Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a renowned main dealership group to recruit a skilled HGV Technician for their Westbury site. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) maintenance to join a reputable team and advance their career.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Excellence: Utilize diagnostic equipment and systematic approaches to identify and rectify vehicle faults efficiently. Engage with customers to understand issues clearly and provide accurate solutions.
Technological Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest vehicle technologies and diagnostic procedures. Ensure proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in new vehicle models.
Quality Repairs and Servicing: Perform high-standard repairs and servicing in line with manufacturer specifications and standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safe working practices, ensuring safety for self and colleagues during all repair and maintenance activities.
Documentation: Accurately complete service documentation, including job sheets, Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI's), and service reports, adhering to brand standards and site requirements.
Workshop Maintenance: Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop, ensuring the proper use and care of both special and personal tools.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in HGV maintenance.
Qualifications: Relevant Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance.
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required. HGV Class 1 & 2 licences are desirable.
Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, familiarity with latest vehicle technologies, ability to follow manufacturer specifications, and a commitment to safety and quality.
