PSV / HGV Mechanic
Location: Taunton
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week (5 days over 7 | Late Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Base Salary: £17.88 per hour
Shift Allowance: +£20.36 per day shift payment

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician

Diagnose, service, and carry out vehicle repairs and parts replacement.
Identify vehicle faults and specify the correct repair methods.
Conduct routine fleet inspections using modern handheld data capture devices.
Attend occasional on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries.
Complete vehicle road testing to verify successful remedial repairs.What you’ll need as HGV Technician / PSV Technician

NVQ / SVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Open to backgrounds in PSV, HGV, Light Vehicle (car/van), or ex-Forces engineering roles.
Full UK driving licence (a PCV licence is highly desirable, but we will fund and help you achieve this).
