Description:

Manpower is recruiting HGV Mechanics with our client who are Northern Irelands Public Transport service provider.

*Light Vehicle Mechanics are welcome, experience on commercial vehicles is desirable*

Based at their workshop in Derry/ L'Derry, you'll carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on a range Buses and Coaches.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, with early finish on Fridays £30,230

Night Shift: Sun to Weds / Mon - Thurs 10pm - 8am £39,300

The Role

Mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairs on vehicles, buses and coaches
Carry out vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork
Diagnose faults and take corrective action
Remove and replace vehicle parts
Work with colleague and supervisors effectively
Work in line with company policy and health & safety

What we are looking for

Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic (Light or HGV)
Preferably have experience on commercial vehicles, HGV's and Buses
Able to fault find and diagnose
Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
High standard of work, quality and safety practice
