HGV Mechanic - Stroud, Gloucester - up to £55,000 OTE**
Are you an experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic looking to join a growing company in Stroud, Gloucester. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HGVs according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs as necessary.
Conduct MOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding vehicle issues and repair time lines.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience.
Recognised qualifications in HGV maintenance and repair (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HGV systems and components.
