Description:

Connect Appointments is recruiting a HGV Mechanic to join an established logistics business based in Widnes.

Our client operates a busy transport operation, requiring an experienced HGV Mechanic to support fleet maintenance and repairs.

What's on offer?

Full-time permanent position
Working week of Monday to Friday
Your choice of 6am to 4pm, or 8am to 6pm
£19 to £20 per hour - dependent on experienceAs an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:

Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on HGV vehicles
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults efficiently
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
Ensuring all work meets relevant safety and compliance standardsTo be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:

A minimum of 4 to 5 years' experience as an HGV Mechanic
A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is preferred but not essential
