Alecto Recruitment is working with a well-established and reputable supplier of suction excavators. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced HGV Technician to their workshop team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 7:30am - 1:00pm
The Role

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV and LGV vehicles.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
Complete pre-MOT inspections and vehicle preparation.
Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and within required timescales.
Complete all service records, inspection sheets and workshop documentation accurately.
Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Fitter or LGV Technician.
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable

Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
