Best Time Ltd is currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) Drivers to support our client ain Basingstoke.
This opportunitie is available within retail distribution, store deliveries. Whether you are looking for full-time work, part-time shifts, weekend work, or a temp-to-perm opportunity, we have positions to suit your requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicles
* Complete deliveries and collections in accordance with client requirements
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
* Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD)
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation
* Deliver excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
* Adhere to all road transport, health and safety, and company procedures
Requirements
* Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD)
* Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work flexible shift patterns
* Successful completion of driving assessment and induction required
