HGV Driver Required – Scaffolding Company
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Driver for a well-established scaffolding contractor based in Slough.
This is a hands-on role with daily starts from the company's yard in Slough, delivering scaffolding materials to sites across London and the South East.
Previous scaffolding experience is advantageous, but not essential. If you are not a qualified scaffolder, you must be willing to assist with labouring duties, including loading and unloading scaffolding materials as required.
Duties
* Driving HGV vehicles to and from construction sites.
* Transporting scaffolding materials safely and efficiently.
* Loading and unloading vehicles.
* Assisting scaffolders on site where required.
* Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards.
* Following all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Valid CSCS Card (essential).
* Previous experience driving within the construction industry is desirable.
* Physically fit and prepared to undertake manual handling duties.
* Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
