HGV Driver – Class 2
Temp to Perm

£17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with an enhanced rate of £26.20 per hour and an average of 2 nights out per week.
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy operation based in Ely. You will be responsible for delivering goods to builders' merchants and customers' premises, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
Daily Duties
• Deliver goods to customers and builders' merchants.
• Load and unload deliveries, including heavy lifting.
• Carry goods into customers' properties where required (ground floor only).
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are secure.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure deliveries and any returns are handled safely and accurately.
Requirements
• Full, valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Minimum of 1 year's relevant HGV driving experience.
• No more than 3 points on your licence
• Physically fit, as heavy lifting is involved.
• Willingness to undertake an average of 2 nights out per week.
