Location: Robertsbridge, East Sussex | Shift Pattern: Night Shift (5:00pm - 5:00am)

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Night Driver to support our client based in Robertsbridge. This role involves completing scheduled night-time deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 drivers seeking long-term, stable employment with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Complete scheduled night-time deliveries and collections.
Safely transport goods between depots, distribution centres, and customer locations.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on time.
Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records correctly.
Ensure loads are secured correctly before commencing each journey.
Maintain compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and company policies.
Provide a professional and courteous service at all delivery and collection points.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness and security of the vehicle.Please be aware that your role may not be limited to these tasks.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
Valid CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Newly qualified Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply.
Comfortable working night shifts.
Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Good communication skills.
Right to work in the UK.
