Travail Employment Group are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver wanting ad hoc shifts. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be required to transport goods safely and efficiently from the Aberystwyth area to various destinations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a HGV Class 1 licence to gain ad hoc shifts when convenient.

The Role:

Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles.
Ensure the security of goods during an efficient transit to designated locations.
Awareness and adherence to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
Complete critical vehicle maintenance checks.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
Maintain excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
Report any incidents, accidents or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities.
The Ideal Candidate:

Valid HGV Class 1 Licence.
CPC Licence.
Digital Tachograph card.
Must have a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends is required.
Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the public.
Reliable, punctual and customer oriented.
