Key Details:
Position: Class 2 Tipper Driver
Location: Heathrow Airport
Rate : £19per hour
Shifts: Night shifts, with opportunities for overtime
Working Hours:
6-month probation contract (will be extended for the successful candidates)
Full-time: Sun (evening) - Fri (morning), start time around 9pm , finish around 6am (may vary)
min. 8 hours per shift guaranteed
no breaks deducted
Role Responsibilities:
Operate Class 2 tipper vehicles within and around Heathrow Airport, adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws, and ensuring the secure and efficient transport of materials (approx. 2 loads per shift only)
Conduct vehicle inspections, coordinate loading and unloading. Also maintain any necessary records, mileage, and fuel consumption. Participation in GSAT training sessions (no cost to applicant)is required to ensure familiarity with airport-specific regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
A proactive approach to safety and security, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic airport environment.
A valid Class 2 driving license with a clean record and at least 2 years of experience in tipper operations. Candidates should be committed to ongoing training and professional development.
Successful completion of a DBS check, 5 year employment check and willingness to undergo GSAT training are mandatory.
