We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Road sweeper Driver to work for a local council based in Ilkeston

Experience of driving a similar vehicle is essential and ideally good area knowledge of Ilkeston and Long Eaton

For this vacancy you will need to have:

Previous experience of working in a similar environment
Good Area Knowledge
A clean criminal record

Salary: £13:02 per hour
Working Hours are Monday to Friday, starting as early as 4am some days, or 7:30am other days
8 hour shifts
Covering some weekends when required

Driving a HGV Class two Left-hand drive road sweeper
Operate a sweeper truck to clean streets, parking lots, and other designated areas
Drive the sweeper truck to assigned locations and follow a predetermined route
Operate the sweeper equipment to effectively clean surfaces
Empty and dispose of collected debris in designated areas
Perform routine checks on the sweeper truck and equipment
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the sweeper truck
