The Best Connection is excited to offer an immediate start opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Delivery Driver to join our well-established client in Darlington. This is your chance to become part of a fast-paced, friendly distribution team supplying a loyal customer base across the local area. Our client is a leading national supplier to fish & chip shops, fast food outlets, and the wider foodservice industry, so you'll play a vital role in keeping businesses running smoothly while delivering top-notch service.

The Role:

Multi-drop HGV Class 2 deliveries of frozen produce and other items across a dedicated route
Build strong relationships with regular customers
Keep your vehicle clean, organised, and road-ready
Accurately complete delivery paperwork
Stay compliant with EU Drivers' Hours and transport regulations
Deliver excellent, professional customer service every step of the way
This role will involve handballing of orders at customer premises and the potential of accepting cash/cheques as payment.

What We're Looking For:

Valid Cat C (Class 2) driving licence
CPC card & Digital Tachograph card
Multi-drop experience is a bonus, but not essential
Physically fit (this role involves heavy lifting)
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday
06:30am start

Pay Rate:

£14.00 per hour (PAYE)
