Vector are seeking HGV Class 2 drivers on behalf of our esteemed client, a prominent Infrastructure Services contractor for a 6-month Contract based near Sittingbourne.
Furthermore, this role warmly welcomes newly trained drivers, offering them the support and confidence necessary to proficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker. Beyond driving, you will collaborate with an operator to maintain the roadside drainage network. Consequently, drivers will be expected to exit the vehicle and employ vacuum and jetting equipment to upkeep the drains and gullies. Work is conducted in pairs to distribute the workload effectively.
Requirements:
Possession of an HGV Class 2 Licence.
Completion of CPC training
A willingness to engage in the physical aspects of the job.
Prior experience in a highways or drainage environment is advantageous.Shift Schedule:
